Description
A Municipal Candidates' Forum will be held on February 26 from 1:30–5:15 pm at the Champaign Public Library for the following contested races in Champaign: Mayor, City Council, School Board, and Parkland College Board of Trustees.
There will be a formal Q&A for all offices except the Parkland Board. Time will be limited, so the questions will be formulated prior to each session. We are asking the public to participate in formulating the questions. If you would like to submit questions, please use the following form:
The candidate forum is sponsored by Indivisible Rural Illinois, ILVote of Champaign County, NAACP Champaign County, Bend the Arc:Jewish Action Champaign-Urbana, League of Women Voters of Champaign County, and the News-Gazette. Urbana has no contested races, and therefore no Urbana candidates are included.
