Bend the Arc: CU will be hosting a short rally next Friday, 10/14 (Please note change in the date) in tandem with the High Holidays. It is called, "High Holy Days Plea for Justice Rally". It will be held at the Champaign County Courthouse from 5-5:30 pm.
The details are: At this time of atonement in the Jewish calendar, we will ask for Rodney Davis to atone for not speaking up against this administration's cruelty and inhumanity at the southern border. There will be guest speakers, a reading of the names of all those who died in detention centers and in synagogues in the past 3 years and blowing of the shofar, a Jewish symbol of the High Holy days. Please join us in praying for the congressman and those who have suffered and perished in detention."
