Here's something positive and wonderful to take your mind off the horrors of the day!
Bend the Arc:CU is sponsoring a Shabbat Dinner at Hillel on Friday,September 21 in support of those students who have DACA status or are DACA eligible. Rabbi Ari and his students are working with LaCasa and NAWC to compile the guest lists. The content of services that night will reflect our country's immigration crisis and other pertinent themes.
Everyone in Bend the Arc:CU is invited to attend. Please rsvps to Diane Ore. Please let me know how many in your party.
The cost of the dinner will depend on how many of us attend. If 20 of us attend, the cost will be $36 per person -- cheap enough for a Shabbat dinner! Meat or fish and vegetarian options will be available.
